A rare silver tone metal belt produced by the legendary jeweler William De Lillo. De Lillo began his career in the 1950s and designed for iconic houses such as Cartier, Tiffany & Co., Schiaparelli, Yves Saint Laurent, and Chanel. This belt features two strands of stretchy silver metal snake chain that have been interwoven. The round statement buckle features a three dimensional shield motif with a crown and a fleur de lis ensconced in a sunburst style frame. On the back of the buckle there is an embossed crown, and on the hook closure there is a small embossed anchor. De Lillo’s specialization in high quality, detail oriented design is immediately apparent in this belt!
