An incredibly rare belt produced by the legendary jeweler William De Lillo. De Lillo began his career in the 1950s and designed for iconic houses such as Cartier, Tiffany & Co., Schiaparelli, Yves Saint Laurent, and Chanel. The main chain of the belt features triple strands of cable chain interspersed with incredible gold metal sculpted king’s heads connected by book chain. At the hanging end of the belt there is a larger scale book chain accented with dangling king’s head charms. The quality and detail present in this belt is stunning, and the rarity of De Lillo pieces (in particular, belts) makes this a museum worthy piece! Equally striking when worn as a necklace.
