This Hermès silk scarf, titled "Reve D'Austrelie," was designed by Zoe Pauwels in 1999. A celebration of Australia, the scarf pays tribute to Aboriginal Art from the region. The scarf features a dark grey border with an animal motif: kangaroos, snakes, birds, and other indigenous creatures comingle at the center in shades of white, blue, yellow, gold, olive green, and red. A central medallion anchors the design. "HERMES PARIS" signature near the bottom of the scarf.
Hermès first began producing silk scarves in 1937 and became famous for their elaborate silk screening process, which applies each color present in the scarf one at a time on to the silk. The hallmark of luxury, Hermès has established itself as a timeless brand that will never go out of style!
