A gorgeous Hermès "Flora Graeca" scarf designed by Niki Goulandris in 1983. Crafted in a decadent heavy weight silk, the scarf features a floral motif in vibrant shades of red, blue, yellow, and green set against a crisp white background. The navy blue border features a red stripe lined in white running through the center. The bottom border reads "HERMES - PARIS" in navy blue. On opposite sides of the scarf there are banners with the scientific names of the flowers pictured on the scarf written in a calligraphic font. Goulandris' signature is printed interior to the border near the top of the scarf. A stunning wardrobe staple that will upgrade any outfit.
Hermès first began producing silk scarves in 1937 and became famous for their elaborate silk screening process, which applies each color present in the scarf one at a time on to the silk. The hallmark of luxury, Hermès has established itself as a timeless brand that will never go out of style!
